Plan the journey. Design the detail.
Website Design and Development
Your website needs to explain the business, give people confidence and make the next step easy to find. We bring together Figma design, responsive development and practical content planning so those decisions work as one connected experience. Simply Graphic works with businesses and creative agencies in South Africa and internationally, with direct involvement from the people designing and building the site.

A clear starting point
A useful website starts with the right questions: who is visiting, what do they need to understand, and what should they do next? The answers guide the page structure, visual design, platform and handover.
- A clear visitor journey Organise services, proof and next steps around the questions your customers bring.
- Design and build together Connect Figma layouts with responsive behaviour and the agreed website functionality.
- Editing that fits your team Choose WordPress or a suitable static build around the way the website will be used.

Our approach
What we do
Website structure and content priorities
We start with your audience, offer and main conversion path, then map the pages and information needed to support them. A service business, product catalogue and membership website require different journeys. For an existing site, identify useful pages and URLs before deciding what to replace, consolidate or retain.
Figma website design
Page layouts bring the brand, typography, imagery and content hierarchy together before development. Review the design using realistic copy and representative content, including longer headings and product information. This makes feedback more useful and exposes missing content while the structure is still easier to adjust.
WordPress development or a focused static build
WordPress suits teams that need routine publishing and content editing. A streamlined HTML, CSS and JavaScript build can suit a more focused website. We agree the platform around your requirements rather than assuming every project needs the same tools. Ecommerce, memberships and external integrations need specific scope.
Responsive behaviour and practical review
A desktop layout needs deliberate decisions for smaller screens. The review should cover readable content, image crops, navigation, buttons and forms, alongside the technical work agreed for launch. A working enquiry journey also needs clear ownership of form delivery and follow-up, not simply a visually finished contact page.
Launch preparation and usable handover
Content approval, domain and hosting access, redirects and editing responsibilities all affect launch readiness. We identify these requirements with you and agree the handover your team needs. Ongoing care and future development can then be discussed against a clear starting point rather than left as assumptions.
Clear steps. Direct collaboration.
How we work
01
Define the brief
Share the current website, audience, page list, required functions and content status. We clarify the important journeys and dependencies so the proposal describes the actual work, including what sits outside the first release.
02
Shape the design
Use Figma to review structure, visual direction and representative page layouts. Bring comments together through an agreed approval contact, with feedback tied to the audience and the purpose of each section.
03
Build and review
Develop the agreed layouts and functionality, place the approved content and review the website across screen sizes. Keep content corrections, functional issues and new scope visible so each can be handled appropriately.
04
Prepare for launch
Confirm approvals, access, redirects where needed and the agreed checks. Establish who manages routine updates and who receives enquiries, then complete the planned handover around those responsibilities.

Crafted Ltd website design showing furniture photography, product navigation and a direct shopping action.
Crafted Ltd: e-commerce website design
Project scope. A bespoke e-commerce website for a custom furniture company, with navigation and product presentation forming part of the recorded scope.
Our contribution. Simply Graphic designed and developed the website. The example shown brings the furniture imagery, brand treatment and shopping navigation into one interface.
Design decisions. The opening furniture photograph has the largest visual role. The header separates Shop, Custom Order, Our Work and Our Story, while Shop Now provides a clear shopping action.
Delivered design. The delivered website design presents the products prominently and distinguishes shopping, custom orders and information about the business in its navigation.

Before you start
Your questions, answered
Yes. Share the URL and explain what needs to improve. The existing theme, plugins, content and integrations help determine whether a focused update or a fuller rebuild makes sense. Useful content and existing URLs should be considered before changes begin.
Yes. Include the design file, responsive layouts if available, component states and any functional notes. A visual design does not describe every interaction or integration, so those requirements need to be clarified alongside the layouts.
The proposal should identify each responsibility. Content preparation, technical SEO, hosting, third-party subscriptions and ongoing support are distinct parts of a website project. Tell us what you need so the scope reflects it explicitly.
Content readiness, page types, design requirements, integrations and the review process all affect the work. A useful brief makes those inputs visible. We discuss the requirements before confirming a project price or delivery schedule.
