A membership site is a private, gated part of your online business, a password-protected website that offers exclusive content and training. These members pay you either a one-time or a recurring monthly fee for access to the site

Tiered pricing as a model (also known as price tiering) is used to sell your products within a particular price range. Once you fill up a tier you move to the next tier and you will be billed according to the number of purchases you make in those respective tiers. Tiered pricing differs as a model and strategy.

Once a user visits a site, a small piece of data called a “cookie” will be stored in the user’s browser. When the user then visits other sites, this cookie can allow re-marketing ads to be shown. Re-marketing allows advertisers to “follow” users around in attempts to get the user back to the original site.

PPC

Pay-per-click is an internet advertising model used to drive traffic to websites, in which an advertiser pays a publisher when the ad is clicked. Pay-per-click is commonly associated with first-tier search engines.

SEO

Search engine optimization is the process of growing the quality and quantity of website traffic by increasing the visibility of a website or a web page to users of a web search engine. SEO refers to the improvement of unpaid results and excludes direct traffic and the purchase of paid placement.

SEM

a nebulous term that can apply to either 1. Any digital marketing that involves the use of a search engine, or 2. Only paid digital marketing that involves a search engine, ie: PPC (pay-per-click). There is not an industry standard as to which definition is correct, however the latter is most commonly used.
