Make your content look connected
Social Media Design
Social content is often created one post at a time, but the overall impression should still feel like one brand. We design campaign artwork, content templates and social graphics that give your messages a consistent visual direction. The brief connects the audience, content themes and channels with the practical work needed to prepare and approve each asset.

At a glance
A clear starting point
A useful design system gives you enough consistency to be recognisable and enough flexibility to communicate different messages. A product introduction, educational post and event announcement should each be easy to understand.
- A clear message per asset Decide what the viewer should notice before adding more content to the layout.
- A coordinated visual direction Carry the brand through campaigns and recurring content without making every post identical.
- Formats and approvals planned Agree channels, versions, content ownership and the review process before production.

Our approach
What we do
Campaign artwork
We turn an approved campaign message into a coherent group of social assets. The visual direction should connect the pieces while allowing different information to lead. Identify the audience, offer, campaign dates and required calls to action so the design supports a specific communication rather than an undefined request for more posts.
Recurring content templates
Templates can help a team handle repeatable content such as product features, announcements or educational themes. They need to accommodate real variations in text and imagery. Agree which elements the team will change and the software they will use, so the handover is practical rather than merely visually consistent.
Product and service presentation
A single social graphic has limited space. We organise the approved message, imagery and supporting detail so the viewer can understand the subject quickly. More complex information may need a sequence of assets, with a clear order and purpose for each, rather than being compressed into one crowded layout.
Channel and format adaptations
Assets should be planned for the channels and placements where they will appear. A wider image and a vertical composition may require different crops and content arrangements. Confirm the current placement specifications when the work is briefed, then identify the versions that need to be supplied and checked.
Ongoing design support
For recurring work, a clear content list and approval rhythm make production easier to manage. Agree who supplies copy, imagery and offers, how changes are consolidated and which assets are required. Publishing, community management, paid advertising and reporting need their own responsibilities if they form part of the wider activity.
Clear steps. Direct collaboration.
How we work
01
Set the content brief
Share the audience, channels, campaign purpose and content themes. Identify required assets and variations, along with the dates that matter. Explain any brand rules and what the team needs to keep editable.
02
Build the visual direction
Develop representative layouts around real copy and images. Review the relationship between the assets so the direction works as a campaign or content system, not only as one attractive post.
03
Produce and review the set
Apply the approved direction to the agreed content and formats. Check wording, product details, image crops and calls to action together. Use one consolidated set of feedback to keep versions under control.
04
Hand over for use
Supply the agreed outputs and editable templates where included. Confirm which files are approved and how the team should adapt them. New campaign messages or formats can then be briefed against the same visual starting point.

Experience you can explore
Cherry Berry social media design
The Cherry Berry work uses colourful imagery to present a smoothie company’s flavours and product range. It provides a relevant example of building social content around a visual product story.
Flex Box social media design
The Flex Box project presents shipping-container products to business and industry audiences. Compare its communication needs with those of a consumer product when considering the tone and structure of your own content.

Before you start
Your questions, answered
Yes. Send the guidelines, logos, fonts and examples of current material. If the identity is inconsistent or incomplete, identify the decisions that need resolving before a larger set of social templates is developed.
Either can be considered in the brief. Finished artwork and reusable templates involve different handover requirements. Tell us who will update the files and which software they use so the agreed output fits the team.
The design brief covers the agreed artwork and templates. Content planning, publishing, community responses, advertising spend and campaign reporting need to be specified separately, with clear owners. They should not be assumed from the number of designed posts.
A consistent idea can often be adapted, but the composition and information may need to change for different placements. List the channels and required formats so the assets can be designed and checked for their intended use.
